Our Mission
Crag is a client-focused law center that supports community efforts to protect and sustain the Pacific Northwest's natural legacy.
We promote environmental conservation and sustainable natural resource management by:- Providing high quality legal representation to local residents in rural and urban communities, recreation groups, watershed districts, and conservation groups with projects that are compatible with our organizational mission;
- Educating the public about local, state, federal and international environmental laws, the science impacting good management decisions, and the importance of preserving our environment;
- Assisting clients in traditional grass roots organizing to mobilize citizen action and build lasting relationships that empower local communities; and
- Training the next generation of advocates and professionals working on conservation through student internships and volunteer opportunities.
